Ives can be responsible for noncon/dubcon, I don't want Hart directly involved in any blatant noncon, though it would go with the Themes if he's vaguely aware that something bad is going on with Ives and just tries to ignore it. Late movie Hart is the cognitive dissonance king until someone calls him on it and he has a complete meltdown.
How would the dynamics work here? I'm especially interested in the period where it’s just the 3 of them at the fort, I imagine there would be a lot of very fun and complicated dynamics and tension between them all, with Boyd wanting to get Hart away from Ives, Hart at least temporarily loyal to Ives, Ives being enamored with Boyd and trying to coerce him into accepting Cannibalism into his heart and trying to use Hart to his advantage here, Hart at least passively backing him up… There’s already so much going on in their weird little polycule and it would be even more complex if they were all fucking! How do you see it?
I love that scene where Hart’s carrying around an armload of firewood and a skeletal hand and playfully threatening the chickens, and Ives asks “having fun?” and he’s like “who, me? :) “ He’s so jolly on cannibalism (while he’s in denial, before his Talk with Boyd) I feel like the cannibalism is acting like an antidepressant for him too. What on earth is his dynamic with Ives like behind the scenes? What were they doing before they returned to the fort? Did Ives trap him or tie him up in any way to make sure he was ok with the cannibalism early on or was Hart too obviously desperate to not die and willing to go along with it? Did they have sex while they were off killing people in the woods? Do they bond over both having a crush on Boyd?? Are Hart and Boyd already in a relationship prior to Hart's faked death or are Hart and Ives both in the same boat, pining-wise?

I feel like he could have a mystic's sort of connection where he's very intimate with Our Lord and Savior J.C. on a wavelength that other religious people might not get (or approve of. Or think is in fact religious as opposed to demonic.) Maybe sex is communion with God for him in some way. I had a messy breakup with religion, you have my blessing (haha) in making it as weird as you want.
Toffler apparently watched over Ives all night at Fort Spencer, what if Ives says he’s cold and Toffler gets in bed with him to warm him up? And then Ives pulls a Carmilla? Or just anything playing with that little detail!
You could play up the rapey vibes of the “he was licking me!” scene with Ives trying to get a nibble in while Toffler is asleep…
Play up the homoerotic-ness of Ives eating Toffler, to whatever extent you want. And it could look however you want, I’m curious what Ives’ predator mode brain would want to get up to once the blood gets him excited. Does he even get his dick out? Does he get off on the mutilation? Does he cut another hole in him to fuck?? (or would he not want to compromise the edibility of the Meat..?) Does he otherwise act like they're having normal sex while taking bites out of him??? What is going on with him….
Ives decides he misses Toffler and resurrects him by feeding him blood.
Sub-prompts: are Boyd and Hart still alive cannibals in this AU, or did they die permanently, thus Ives resurrecting Toffler instead of them? Or, was Toffler his main goal this time? …what if Toffler finds Boyd in the pit and realizes Ives is lying? Also, what if the near death experience (and/or trauma) gives Toffler amnesia and he wakes up “healed” with hazy memories and some bite mark shaped chunks missing out of his liver region and has to try to figure out what happened to him and if he should trust Ives.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly:
Go as wild or dark as you want with these pairings, everything is a fucked up struggle for dominance and convoluted kink that’s pretending to not be a kink with these maniacs. Happy with dubcon in any ship (with these guys I feel like it'd be weirder if there was healthy communication!) and Angel Eyes noncon-ing anyone. Omegaverse or adjacent types of AU could be fun any way you want to interpret it, I especially like omega Blondie who has every complex in the world about it. Angel Eyes and Tuco both want Blondie, who, not liking the vibe of two dangerous murderers fighting over him, suggests they just share him instead of all the drama. The West’s weirdest tensest threesome ensues. It’s a three-way Mexican standoff with dicks out. Maybe Tuco and Angel Eyes find a way to make it a competition. Maybe Blondie gets spitroasted by both of his frenemies. Maybe they all get along for an evening and realize they kind of like each other, or maybe it just exacerbates The Issues that would one day lead to them all trying to kill each other.

Angel Eyes’ obsession with power, getting rid of Tuco and forcing Blondie to work with him, Blondie going along with it because he doesn’t see a better option but immediately running off with Tuco when he comes back… shooting him later… Angel Eyes calling him a “golden-haired angel”… what is going on with them! Any degree of consensual/dubcon/noncon/dynamics that blur the lines or shift back and forth are fine here. I feel like Blondie is very pragmatic in how he views his forced alliance with Angel Eyes but also clearly dislikes him and resents being forced, which is a fun dynamic.

Strongly opt in to any kink you think works for this one, these guys are all over the homoerotic power struggles, ropes, torturing each other, etc. Canon rewrite of a scene where they tried to kill each other to include sex? Post- or pre-canon?
Angel Eyes/Tuco
How do they know each other? Why does Angel Eyes throw Tuco aside like garbage in the movie to fawn over Blondie? (is it the racism) Do they have history? Do they both have history with Blondie that drove them apart, or maybe it brings them together? I think it’s interesting that they’re both criminals who sometimes work with different gangs, but have different styles (Tuco is a outlaw, big on armed robberies and bravado; Angel Eyes is a professional assassin, seems to prefer stealth?) Tuco might seem more chaotic but is very intelligent and resourceful, as evidenced by him managing to survive the everything that tries to kill him throughout the movie; does Angel Eyes recognize this and respect Tuco as dangerous in his own right or does he fail to take him seriously enough as a threat? (He certainly does in the movie, thus allowing Tuco to escape and come back to haunt him…) Their interactions in the movie were very one-sided with Angel Eyes flaunting his position of power as a military official and gang leader, what would the dynamic be like if they had met on a more equal footing? Would love to see the fucked up powerplays between the two if Tuco was also (or exclusively) the one acting from a place of power. Would love to see Angel Eyes have to be careful around him.
Death Rides a Horse
Bill/Ryan
The tension, the devotion, the trust (or lack thereof), the loyalty, the identity porn, the one-upmanship!!!!! The way they stare at each other even in their first couple interactions, before Bill even knows Ryan is involved in his revenge quest! The contrasts in Bill's character depending on who he's dealing with are fun, he's generally polite and helpful but also contains intense murderous rage for specific people. He's very human. *slaps him like that car salesman meme* big strong farm boy can fit so much trauma in him! And I love Ryan. He's so cagey! He goes to such efforts to keep Bill at a distance but always comes to the rescue when he's needed! He'd do anything for Bill but he absolutely will not explain anything (until he is forced to)! They're so intense and so laser focused on each other and fight side by side with each other, and also fight each other. And there's so much of an odd kind of trust there even with Bill almost shooting Ryan. And Ryan would have let him! And he doesn't! I love them. Would only like them shipped after their second meeting with Bill as an adult (younger Bill having a confusing one-sided crush is also fine).

What would it be like pre-reveal? (How would Bill avoid recognizing the necklace?) Or, post-reveal, maybe a post-canon reunion? Or maybe a different version of canon events? What would their relationship be like if circumstances forced them to team up sooner and Ryan couldn't keep his distance? Actually, that whole scene in Ryan’s hotel room is brimming with homoeroticism, feel free to play that up in whatever way you like. Maybe Bill gets right up in Ryan’s personal space to prove that Ryan won’t do anything to stop him and Bill isn’t intimidated, and It Escalates.
There’s an inaccurate poster that shows Bill wearing Ryan’s sexy shirt-open outfit, which is very funny, and has made me think about clothes sharing with the two… Ironically I feel like Bill is most likely to have extra clothes at least in canon; has Ryan had time to get new clothes in between being run out of every town? Maybe he has to wear some of Bill’s. Or circumstances conspire to make Bill have to wear Ryan’s clothes.
How are they about sex?? I feel like both of them have trauma. Bill had to watch his family members get gang raped and then shot as a small child, Ryan has complicated history with and gets tortured by a gang of rapists, I think both of them have.. A lot going on there. And may have weird ways of approaching sex. (Is Bill scared of sex, having seen it as a negative thing? Is Ryan weirdly casual about it/lacks boundaries? Has he been raped and shrugged it off because it ‘wasn’t that bad’/he didn’t get murdered so he’s fine??) How do they work it out if they’re having opposite reactions?
Supernatural AU: what if one (or both) are undead or ghosts of some sort? What if Ryan died while saving Bill, or afterwards, but has unfinished business? What if Bill’s thirst for revenge is currently the only thing keeping him alive? What if they both died in the fire that night... Or what if Bill died and Ryan sacrificed himself via supernatural shenanigans to let Bill grow up semi-normally thus making them both undead (or just Ryan?) Is Walcott some sort of suffering-eating vampire? Do the ghosts of Bill's family haunt him, or Ryan? There's so much death stuff going on in this movie! Go wild!
Bill's ever-present emotional support toothpick is one of his autistic traits to me (like faceblindness/remembering people by their gimmicks, general awkwardness, sort of wooden acting) does he get jittery if he doesn't have one? Does he have to find something else to chew on? Does Ryan start finding chewed toothpicks turning up everywhere in his stuff when he's traveling with Bill? Does Ryan take the toothpick out of Bill's mouth before kissing him? Does he forget and get poked?? Bill fell asleep with his toothpick in his mouth that time in the finale and woke up with it still in his mouth, does he ever eat it??
I have indistinct corruption-kink-adjacent feelings about how Ryan's return is what puts the previously law-abiding Bill on the path of bloody revenge (and breaking Ryan out of jail, and getting tortured by Walcott's men, and and) and it's fun bc Ryan seems to Not Want this to happen very strongly at least at first, but also is the main catalyst in Bill being able to pursue his revenge killing dreams. What's going on there!!!
One dynamic I really like is Ryan trying to convince himself that he purely sees Bill as a surrogate son figure and is not attracted to him (he is), having this intense devotion to him and wanting to protect him and also having sexual feelings come up and it just being all very complicated for him....

I think it’s interesting that they’re both criminals who sometimes work with different gangs, but have different styles (Tuco is a outlaw, big on armed robberies and bravado; Angel Eyes is a professional assassin, seems to prefer stealth?) Tuco might seem more chaotic but is very intelligent and resourceful, as evidenced by him managing to survive the everything that tries to kill him throughout the movie; does Angel Eyes recognize this and respect Tuco as dangerous in his own right or does he fail to take him seriously enough as a threat? (He certainly does in the movie, thus allowing Tuco to escape and come back to haunt him…) Their interactions in the movie were very one-sided with Angel Eyes flaunting his position of power as a military official and gang leader, what would the dynamic be like if they had met on a more equal footing? Would love to see the fucked up powerplays between the two if Tuco was also (or exclusively) the one acting from a place of power. Would love to see Angel Eyes have to be careful around him.

The contrasts in Bill's character depending on who he's dealing with are fun, he's generally polite and helpful but also contains intense murderous rage for specific people. He's very human. *slaps him like that car salesman meme* big strong farm boy can fit so much trauma in him! And I love Ryan. He's so cagey! He goes to such efforts to keep Bill at a distance but always comes to the rescue when he's needed! He'd do anything for Bill but he absolutely will not explain anything (until he is forced to)! They're so intense and so laser focused on each other and fight side by side with each other, and also fight each other. And there's so much of an odd kind of trust there even with Bill almost shooting Ryan. And Ryan would have let him! And he doesn't! I love them. Would only like them shipped after their second meeting with Bill as an adult (younger Bill having a confusing one-sided crush is also fine).

Bill's ever-present emotional support toothpick is one of his autistic traits to me (like faceblindness/remembering people by their gimmicks, general awkwardness, sort of wooden acting) does he get jittery if he doesn't have one? Does he have to find something else to chew on? Does Ryan start finding chewed toothpicks turning up everywhere in his stuff when he's traveling with Bill? Does Ryan take the toothpick out of Bill's mouth before kissing him? Does he forget and get poked?? Bill fell asleep with his toothpick in his mouth that time in the finale and woke up with it still in his mouth, does he ever eat it??
I have indistinct corruption-kink-adjacent feelings about how Ryan's return is what puts the previously law-abiding Bill on the path of bloody revenge (and breaking Ryan out of jail, and getting tortured by Walcott's men, and and) and it's fun bc Ryan seems to Not Want this to happen very strongly at least at first, but also is the main catalyst in Bill being able to pursue his revenge killing dreams. What's going on there!!!
