I love Veyadi/Sunai. They have this love and care for each other that reads as fairly sweet and wholesome, and yet they’re both so fucked up (and in such wild circumstances) that their relationship manages to be way more complicated than you might think it would be given their Vibes. “I want to dissect you” is such a fun line… Sunai just showing up at his apartment and making dinner with stolen groceries… The way they’re both intertwined with the history and technology/spirituality of Khuon Mo but had very different experiences and different feelings about it all.

Explicit description of one of the sex scenes the book glossed over?

More of Sunai cooking delicious food while Veyadi awkwardly hovers and sometimes hands him things?

Worldbuilding! This was such an interesting world to explore.
