Yuletide Letter 2025 WIP
Oct. 19th, 2025 03:20 pm Hello and welcome! Thanks for reading my letter! As always, prompts are optional and given to help with ideas, gift option is toggled on/treats are appreciated, I like any POV, tense or fic rating and I like both art and fic.
Table of contents:
I made a separate reference image post if that's helpful. I'm not really sure how to prompt art but I would love to see artwork of any of my requested fandoms! Character interactions or portraits, or cool scenery from the movie, or a little comic page, whatever you'd like to draw.

Those scenes where Ryan or Bill hold the other at gunpoint, anything playing up their homoerotic/rivalry tension, that scene where Walcott tips Ryan's chin up with his hand (or a similar interaction with Ryan and Bill, either one can be doing the face grabbing I just think it's hot), shirt unbuttoned Ryan, shirtless BILL for equality, that shot from the scene in Ryan's hotel room where they stare at each other before Ryan gives Bill's gun back, Ryan's multi-use bowie knife/shaving razor/throwing knife, either of them being angsty and dramatic at the graves of Bill's family, any art of either of them!
Prompts:
Hurt/comfort, one rescuing the other, the two working together, getting to know one another, more of their friendly rivalry. Clothes sharing (I'm endlessly amused by that one poster that has Bill wearing Ryan's entire outfit from the showdown.) Bill being a gun nut. What are Ryan's opinions on tobacco.
What would their relationship be like if circumstances forced them to team up sooner and Ryan couldn't keep his distance? What if Ryan was injured by the first assassins and had to recover in town, with or without Bill finding out about the matching spurs? What if Bill found him passed out somewhere--or witnessed him being ambushed by two men, and came to the rescue just on principle?
Any kind of supernatural/horror/ghost AU!
What if Ryan or Bill, or both, did in fact die in the intro. What if Ryan died while saving Bill, or afterwards, but has unfinished business? What if Bill’s thirst for revenge is currently the only thing keeping him alive? What if they both died in the fire that night... Or what if Bill died and Ryan sacrificed himself via supernatural shenanigans to let Bill grow up semi-normally thus making them both undead (or just Ryan?) Do the ghosts of Bill's family haunt him, and or Ryan? Is Ryan the ghost? Ryan dies prior to Bill's revenge road trip and Bill does necromancy to make him come along and help? (I'm working on a fic like this but would love to see another one!) There's so much death stuff in this movie, go wild!
Is Walcott some sort of suffering-eating vampire/supernatural nastiness and that's why he's such a sadist? Is Ryan something similar? I think this could add a fun new dynamic to his tension with Bill. Also monster hunter Bill is hot. Monster hunter Bill/Monster Ryan generally?
What if Ryan's 15-year disappearance was not because he went to regular human jail but because he was sent to some sort of hell dimension, or in Vampire Jail (locked in a mausoleum?), or buried alive and had to dig his way out, or magically bound in some way? Eldritch Blasted to Eeby Deeby as punishment for resisting Walcott on the whole child murder thing?
Why does Ryan come to Bill's town, exactly? Guilt? Just a need for closure? Does he want to check on Bill? Is he implicitly giving Bill a chance to kill him, if he wants, or is he desperately hoping he never figures it out (or some of both?) Does he even know?
That scene where Ryan and Bill are both not at church with the rest of the town on Sunday is so fun. Canon divergence where Bill gets frustrated with the silent staring and goes over to talk to him? What would he say? What are they thinking? (Comedy potential: Bill decides they're flirting while Ryan is like "does he recognize me?.... Ah shit.... he's staring too hard... He Knows....Is he going to kill me....") Religious angst/anti-religious sentiment? Horror AU where they're not at church because they're both vampires or something and this is them Realizing something about each other?
If you're shipping them I could see quite a range of fluffy vs. fucked up. Fluff propaganda: they save each other, I think they're obsessed with each other, I could see them being just, so intensely into each other. Holding each other.... Angst propaganda: the HISTORY! Bill almost shoots Ryan and Ryan just lets it happen! There would be so many complicated emotions on both sides! Feel free to explore that as much as desired!
The scene in Ryan's hotel room is deeply homoerotic to me. Ryan holds him at gunpoint and Bill just smirks at him! He knows Ryan isn't going to hurt him! If you want you could just write a version of that scene where they fuck, or flirt more explicitly.
I could see Ryan as a sub who's scared to admit it/give up control but loves when Bill pushes him around. But also, Bill has a bratty energy sometimes, poking at Ryan trying to get a rise out of him. Or both of them playfully wrestling for dominance. I could also see Ryan with a masochistic streak where Bill is involved, because on some level he feels like he owes him something that can never be repaid, and like Bill should punish him.
I bet they both have a million different complexes around sex (possibly manifesting in opposite directions). Bill's first experience with sex was seeing his family members gang raped and then murdered and Ryan hung out with and was repeatedly backstabbed and tortured by said rapist-murderers. (Backstory Ryan noncon is also something I like to subject him to.) Play with this if desired. Or, just really sweet intimate cuddly sex, because I think they're obsessed with each other. Alternatively, rough sex, as Bill has some complicated emotions and aggression to work out and I think Ryan would be into it. Also I feel like the mood of the interaction depends very much on when it's happening, how much Bill does or does not know and how long he's had to process it.

I love how Mortimer is usually (until the end!) one step ahead of Manco and how much he HATES it. The homoeroticism of meeting your match. The rivalry, the respect and affection that develop. "Boy" and "Old Man" as nicknames.
Art prompts:
Reference post
The two squaring up in their Hat Duel, anything from the homoerotic post-duel partnership discussion in Mortimer's hotel room, the two handling each other's guns (...you can interpret that as literally or metaphorically as you want), portrait of one or the other, a scene from the movie you liked or an idea from outside of canon... Perhaps a reunion after the first partnership is ended? Anything with Manco's wrist brace/possible wrist injury.
Prompts:
Character studies, first impressions, the two learning to trust each other. Do they reunite post-canon, and under what circumstances? What happened to Manco's hand?
One question I've wondered about is, if no one else was present for the murders of Mortimer's sister and brother-in-law, how did he know exactly who killed them and how? What if Mortimer's sister's ghost told him? What if killing this man is the only way to bring her peace? (If so, is Mortimer sad to see her go in the end? And/or is there some relief that a long-present shadow is gone from his life? Does he know who he is without it?) OR, was there some kind of psychic bond that allowed him to see her attacker (and experience her death?)
Monster hunter Mortimer, with his arsenal of guns as assorted monster hunting equipment? Or, monster hunter Manco, reacting so badly to Mortimer at first because he senses something dark about him (haunted? possessed? undead? just Seen Some Shit during the war that fucked him up spiritually?)
Vampire/Werewolf? The classic option (scruffy werewolf Manco, refined vampire Mortimer) or a switcheroo, which works just as well (blood-crazed feral vampire Manco, buttoned-up Extremely Normal Man--no, really, he's so normal, please believe him--who secretly goes beastly on the full moon Mortimer?) Or any other supernatural nonsense.
In a sexual relationship, when does it develop--are they pretty much immediately having a passionate affair despite not fully trusting each other, or is it something that develops along with the rest of their relationship? Are there differences in the amount of experience they've had? Manco seems antisocial and possibly repressed, it could be fun to see a more experienced man drive him absolutely crazy. Then again, maybe Mortimer hasn't been with a man before and is a little stunned by Manco's interest.
Il buono il brutto il cattivo | The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

In which 8 minutes of 3 men staring at each other is completely riveting to watch. The dark humor, the apocalyptic backdrop of civil war battles, Tuco and Blondie's fluid relationship (partners? enemies? frenemies? enemies with benefits?) and Angel Eyes' one-sided obsession with Blondie.
Art Prompts:
Reference post
Blondie hanging scene. Tuco assembling his gun. Angel Eyes being cool and menacing and scary. Blondie and Tuco fucking with each other. The scene where Blondie surprises Tuco just out of the bath. Tuco having a cool surviving-against-the-odds moment. Anyone with the hat kitten.
Prompts:
Dubcon is fine for any of these, I love watching these terrible men do psychological warfare on each other. Manipulation! Power plays! Sex so repressed that it's pretending to be torture! Torture so homoerotic that you accidentally get turned on! As for Blondie, I can see him as either deeply repressed and scared of sex and only horny in the most complicated, sublimated ways; or an unabashed and accomplished slut, or anything in between. I like Angel Eyes nonconning Blondie.
That gold is cursed as per one of my favorite tumblr theories, the trio is all dead actually, the gold is actually the secret to immortality or unlimited arcane power or something, MORE or DIFFERENT torture, fucked up love/hate (mostly hate?) triangle dynamics. Whump. Possession. Ghosts. Why is Angel Eyes so sleepy. How do they all know each other, and how well?
More of Tuco and Blondie's weird un-negotiated BDSM power struggle situationship and mutual hangings as a... I can't call it a love language but it's a something.
War as a supernatural entity that blights land and soul.
Angel Eyes manipulating people for his own convenience.
Inhuman Blondie--or, a Blondie who wishes he was inhuman. Namelessness as a status with supernatural significance. Is he some kind of trickster spirit? If Angel Eyes is also supernatural WHAT is that man's deal. Is he Death. Why is he so fucked up. Is he the personification of a violent death specifically. What about Tuco, does Tuco have 9 (hundred?) lives or some kind of luck ability to help him keep cheating death? (Does he know about it or just think he's extremely lucky? Is the effect lessened if he's aware of or thinking about it too hard?) Is he some kind of luck entity the way AE is sometimes called an angel of death? Is this part of his bond with Blondie, Blondie likes to fuck with people and Tuco is able to roll with the punches and hit back like others can't?
I both like AUs where these guys are larger than life and are these powerful supernatural entities, or the personification of Tropes, or whatever; or AUs where they are desperately trying to be all that and just kind of suck as humans.
Shipping: Are they all each other's exes (and to what extent do they Realize?) Have both Tuco and Angel Eyes had sex with Blondie, and realize this with horror? Or, did the two of them have a thing in the past, and are now both fighting over Blondie?Does Angel Eyes try to steal him from Tuco I mean, he canonically does this. Or, do they suddenly realize that Blondie has casually been fucking both of them off and on the whole time?
Do they have an uneasy alliance for some project that requires all 3 of them? Are they plotting who's going to side with who in the event of the inevitable betrayals, but confused by the fact that everyone is having sex with everyone else in this situation, which muddies the waters as far as guessing where loyalties lie? Does every single one of them think they're playing 4D chess with the others as pawns?
Tense 3-person poker game with sexual and/or murderous favors as bargaining chips?
Blondie/Tuco:
They could be having violent unnegotiated rope-bondage torture hatesex every time the camera cuts away without it really changing their canon relationship. How does their relationship change over the course of the movie--gleeful scam partners celebrating a successful almost-hanging/burning off some tension, to enemies/exes who still have a thing for each other while wanting to make each other suffer, to tentative allies-for-now horrified by how easy it is to fall back into their old ways....
Do they accidentally awaken rope kinks in each other via deeply homoerotic torture? Does it develop slowly? Does one start out kinky and the other develops the same kinks through repeated horny association?
Angel Eyes/Blondie:
This is my main noncon ship. Idk I love the unstoppable force of Angel Eyes' evilness meeting the immovable object of Blondie's deadpan endurance. I also think that Angel Eyes would be turned on by Blondie promising to kill him, which is inconvenient for Blondie, who is serious about it.
What went on between them while Blondie was traveling towards the gold with Angel Eyes' gang? What about other scenarios where he might be forced by circumstances to cooperate with Angel Eyes? How far would he go willingly, and what lines would Angel Eyes cross regardless? Blondie seems very pragmatic about cooperating with him, but he clearly doesn't enjoy it.
Do they know each other when they meet in the movie, or just know of each other? Do they have History (and what would that look like?) Why does Angel Eyes assume that Blondie will drop everything and cooperate with him, even after Angel Eyes kills his former partner? Did Blondie genuinely like him (or, tolerate him) at some point, did he see a kinship there in how pragmatic and money-hungry they both are? (Does Blondie like people? Does it sneak up on him, to his dismay?)
What if Angel Eyes offers his aid to Blondie when he's in a bad situation, on the condition that Blondie offers his own cooperation in return (Blondie is smart enough to be suspicious of what this means, but not in a position to refuse.) Blondie having sex with him for favors/manipulation and hating it, or being dismayed by not hating it quite as much as he wants to.

- injury/disability
- concussions/head trauma treated seriously
- gallows humor
- hurt/comfort (or hurt/no comfort, whump)
- weird west
- horror AU or playing up the horror of canon
- ghosts/undead
- darkfic, fluff, smut, gen, anything in between.
- Characters with very intense hard to define relationships (this overlaps with but doesn't have to only apply to shipping likes).
- Wintery/snowy/seasonal themes/setting, though I would prefer not to have a whole fic centered around Christmas.
Shippy/Smutty Likes:
- drunk sex
- awkward sex
- sweet and intimate or rough and aggressive depending on context
- anywhere on the spectrum of fully clothed to naked
- experienced/inexperienced (no preference on which character is which)
- dubcon, villain-on-protagonist noncon (for this exchange just Angel Eyes/Blondie)
- Polyamory, friends with benefits or non-standard relationships
- Bed sharing
- bathing together
- morning wood/wet dreams
- Omegaverse, especially unconventional or where it's really having fun playing with the concepts. I prefer dual genitalia to ass slick option but it's not important. I like fic that gets into the weird speculative biology/social logistics of it all, or omegas as a fantasy-transgender allegory, and also just using heat as a sex pollen sort of scenario. No focus on mpreg please, you can mention it as part of the worldbuilding.
- anal, intercrural, frotting, handjobs, dry humping. Any character can top.
- AI generated content
- unrequested genre-shift AUs
- explicit under 16 sex
- unrequested trans headcanons or "real-world" gender dysphoria (omegaverse or similar fantasy angst fine)
- scat/watersports
- unrequested punishment/discipline kink
- lots of dirty talk/degrading sexual talk
- focus on pregnancy
- ejaculating on face
- focus on nipple or spit stuff
- repeated/immersion-breaking consent check-ins esp. between characters it would be out of character for
- feminizing the character who's bottoming (ex. describing them as significantly shorter or more delicate than they are in canon)
- fingore/detailed descriptions of finger or toe injuries (unless it's about a canon injury or how a Lee Van Cleef character lost his fingertip)
- body parts freezing and breaking off
- characters suddenly "getting over" a canon long term disability or character tic
