I ramble even longer about some of this stuff in earlier letters, you're welcome to scroll back through if you want.

Look at them. They have such incredible tension. They keep saving each other. There's all the identity porn and angst with Ryan's past and Bill's trauma.
In some ways I think this is one of my fluffier ships, as once you get past the sort of playful rivalry when their goals are at odds, they're ride or die for each other when the chips are down. I think they should hold each other..
However they are also both deeply fucked up individuals who nearly killed each other, which is also fun.
Loyalty! Obsession, even! Religious angst! I bet they both have a million different trauma complexes around sex! Bill's first experience with sex was seeing his family members gang raped and then murdered and Ryan hung out with and was repeatedly backstabbed and tortured by said rapist-murderers!
Supernatural/horror/ghost or undead AU of some kind? Did one/both of them actually die in the fire? Monster hunter Bill? Not-exactly-properly-living Bill who's kept alive by his need for revenge? Vampire (or werewolf) Ryan and Walcott's gang? Ghost Ryan? Ghost sex?? Ghost sex....
Kink stuff: I feel like Bill enjoys being a bit of a brat, poking at Ryan trying to get a rise out of him. His smirking in that scene in Ryan's hotel room (hot) when he's figured out that Ryan won't hurt him... If you want to just write a version of that scene where they fuck, or flirt more explicitly, I feel the energy is there.
Also, the amount of times they hold each other at gunpoint, with wildly varying reactions on both sides! By the second time Bill has figured out that Ryan won't really hurt him and he seems to treat it more like a game he's playing along with, while Ryan remains deadly serious.. as he also does when Bill points the rifle at him later and leaves him in the desert... But Bill wasn't really afraid of him, or seriously thinking about killing him, until he notices the skull necklace, and then he does seriously consider killing him, and Ryan knows it... God, I don't know, the dynamics. The shifting playfulness vs. seriousness of it, the attempts to one-up each other.
What if Bill keeps poking at Ryan, trying to figure out what his deal is, where his boundaries are, and gets right up in his personal space to see what he'll do? (He succeeds in getting a reaction. Is it the one he was expecting?)
Does Bill get kind of turned on by violence? It's the adrenaline... (I feel like he'd also have a morality crisis about this lol)
Omegaverse. Idk I don't have specific ideas but I'm curious what you might come up with. Play with the concept, if desired.

Manco is like a hissing feral cat that has to be coaxed inside with food, and still spends the first month deciding if it should bite you or not, while Mortimer is just like. this is my new best friend :) I have to squirt him with a water gun to keep him off the table.
I love their dynamic.
Manco is so used to being on his own and having no one but himself to depend on, and thinks he knows everything, and Mortimer calmly shows up, inserts himself into his life, corrects him on stuff he's wrong about, skillfully manipulates him into cooperation when he's uncooperative, and generally drags him kicking and screaming into a partnership he eventually values. I love that arc of Manco going from being irritated by his presence to being dismayed when he leaves.
Who initiates sex? When does it happen? Are they pretty much immediately having a passionate affair despite not fully trusting each other, or is it something that develops along with the rest of their relationship? Do they reunite post-canon, and under what circumstances?
Are there differences in the amount of experience they've had? Manco seems antisocial and possibly repressed, it could be fun to see a more experienced man drive him absolutely crazy. Then again, maybe Mortimer hasn't been with a man before.
Supernatural/weird west AU? Werewolf/vampire (whichever way you want) or other creature stuff? Or, one is an older vampire and one is recently-turned?
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Some general likes: fighting for dominance, hatesex, enemies-to-enemies-who-fuck/enemies with benefits, complicated exes with benefits, staking sexual and/or murderous favors in a poker game, repressed omega Blondie, repressed gay Blondie in general, (alternatively: gay sex worker Blondie), unnegotiated BDSM sex that just slots into Blondie and Tuco's existing rivalry, choking, Angel Eyes noncon/dubcon-ing anyone but especially Blondie. Generally Blondie getting dubcon'd. I tend to imagine Blondie as someone who is extremely horny but can't admit to it without 9 degrees of subversion. Blondie getting tied up and humiliated and tortured etc, he hates it so much and it's very fun to see the untouchable smugness crack. Also fun to see Tuco get one over on either of his 2 rivals.
Blondie/Tuco:
The classic. The way they're so obsessed with trying to murder each other but start to become friends again despite themselves. All the ropes and tying up and choking. I think they could have violent unnegotiated rope-bondage torture sex without it really changing their canon relationship at all. Just hatefucking each other every time the camera cuts away. I think they could have sex that's pretending to be torture and both walk away sort of shakily convinced that it Definitely Wasn't Gay.
What if Tuco makes Blondie do the desert torture walk naked? (seadem-on on tumblr, who also edited the images above, gave me this idea and it's delicious. Of course, to expose more of his sensitive skin to the sun. No other reason. hehehehehe.)
What if Blondie just decides not to untie Tuco (until he's had a little fun first) after one of his rescues? Or vice versa?
How does their relationship change over the course of the movie--gleeful scam partners celebrating a successful almost-hanging/burning off some tension, to enemies/exes who still have a thing for each other while wanting to make each other suffer, to tentative allies-for-now horrified by how easy it is to fall back into their old ways....
Alternatively, Blondie is a deeply closeted and repressed virgin who Cannot Handle being attracted to someone (perhaps part of his reason for dumping Tuco in the desert?) and Tuco is the first person who manages to get through to him. Terrifying! (Does Tuco know the effect he has on him? When does he figure it out?)
Do they accidentally awaken rope kinks in each other via deeply homoerotic torture? Does it develop slowly? Does one start out kinky and the other develops the same kinks after being sexily tied up repeatedly?
Angel Eyes/Blondie:
They have such an interesting relationship. Angel Eyes is like "I killed your annoying partner :) now I'm your new partner!" and Blondie is like. I know I would never admit it but I was actually getting attached to that partner. I'm going to start planning ways to kill you now :) haha partnership yes of course. haha. What if I shot some of your gang members :)
What was he thinking during that time? What about other scenarios where he might be forced by circumstances to cooperate with Angel Eyes? How far would he go willingly, and what lines would Angel Eyes cross regardless?
Do they know each other when they meet in the movie, or just know of each other? Do they have History (and what would that look like?) Why does Angel Eyes assume that Blondie will drop everything and cooperate with him??
Sex worker Blondie AU: We know Blondie will happily do dubiously-legal things for money, I think this could be an interesting spin on his character. And an interesting origin for his meeting with Angel Eyes, if AE is obsessed with him as the only sexual partner he's considered just as dangerous as him and therefore his equal, and Blondie just sees him as his least favorite source of income and is desperately trying to avoid getting dangerously entangled with his nonsense.
That tag "Torture - Torturer and Victim Both Realize They're Getting Off On It"... What if this is the real reason Angel Eyes knew he couldn't torture Blondie into telling him about the name on the grave--he's tried in the past and, ahem, it didn't go as expected? (...Is it because Blondie's relationship with Tuco is so violently homoerotic that being tied up and threatened now makes him desperately aroused just via pavlovian association?)
Angel Eyes/Blondie/Tuco:
Are they all each other's exes (and to what extent do they Realize?) Have both Tuco and Angel Eyes had sex with Blondie, and realize this with horror? Or, did the two of them have a thing in the past, and are now both fighting over Blondie? Does Angel Eyes try to steal him from Tuco?
Two of these men left alone in a room will immediately start scheming and backstabbing, but three of them?! ...Maybe they would pause the scheming for long enough to take turns fucking Blondie, you never know. (Is this Blondie's idea or is he tied up/extremely drunk/not in a position to argue?)
Do they have an uneasy alliance for some project that requires all 3 of them? (Are they plotting who's going to side with who in the event of the inevitable betrayals, but confused by the fact that everyone is having sex with everyone else in this situation, which muddies the waters as far as guessing where loyalties lie?)

This is my "oh noooo not the inconvenient sex pollen scenario, I thought I didn't get sex pollen scenario anymore" prompt. Also I love a dilf/milf omega (oilf??). I see this as a fairly playful and sweet ship. Feel free to head any direction you want with this from the tag prompt, but here are some ideas I like if you don't have any!
Bonus points if there's some reason they never would have addressed the pining otherwise--they're coworkers or professor/student, omega knows the alpha's dad, omega said something about being glad he doesn't get heats/have to take suppressants anymore which alpha somehow misinterpreted as a general disinterest in relationships, etc.

From Ketterley’s standpoint, it really gets interesting. Why? Does this divorced wizard and failed academic lack other options? Does dating intimidate him? Is this his midlife crisis? (Arguably his whole deal is just a spectacularly out of control wizardly midlife crisis where he kills people via experimental labyrinth banishment.) Is it some kind of fucked up experiment? Does he need to have sex with someone for some kind of magic ritual? Is he, despite his best efforts, developing a bit of Lima syndrome affection for Piranesi, despite at first disliking Matthew?
Their relationship is so fascinating to me. He brings Piranesi one (1) slice of Christmas cake. He doesn’t notice that his shoes have worn out and lets him run around barefoot and in rags in places with sharp debris. There’s a sort of absent-mindedness to him that seems very realistic to me. He’s detached from the situation, he knows he destroyed(?) Matthew (unless he comes back, which is terrifying), and that Piranesi could die in the House. Also, he's just got other stuff going on in his life! Unlike Piranesi, who lives here!
Soulmate AU: I imagine Ketterley Realizing during their interview and going "oh thank God, someone I can trap in the labyrinth, this is the best case scenario. I never wanted a soulmate." Especially if it's an AU where there's some kind of biological imperative to staying around your soulmate, I imagine Ketterley would find it convenient to have his trapped in a pocket dimension where he can pop in for biweekly meetings and avoid going into soulmate withdrawal or whatever but he doesn't have to actually, you know, change anything about his life to accommodate the presence of a new person. Maybe there's some sort of magical connection he wants to exploit? Could also motivate him to keep Piranesi alive if Matthew is his soulmate and soulmates are affected by each other's deaths (also. What happens when Ketterley dies??) Also also, did Matthew know, and what does Piranesi know? Does he know soulmates are a thing at all. Does he just think he and the Other share a special scholarly bond. Does he have no idea. What does and doesn't he remember.
Piranesi Solo or with House/Statues:
...How much exactly did he forget when Matthew disappeared? I imagine he has a basic understanding of what sex is--he's very intelligent and he understands such concepts as finding and cooking food, maps, writing, exploration, time and calendars, etc. It seems like a lot of general knowledge carried over, but specific stuff got lost in the mix, so I'm guessing he knows what sex is, but wouldn't remember what experiences Matthew has had.
So like. Was there a point at which Piranesi jerked off "for the first time ever" (which felt mysteriously familiar?) Did he discover/rediscover/think he was discovering human sexuality from looking at the Statues? Is that one of the things he thinks the House taught him but he was actually trying to dredge up from lost memories?
Statues: I know he has favorites, does he also have some that he thinks are extra sexy? (Do the statues depict anything overtly sexual, or does he just enjoy them?) If you go for the statues prompt--is it a mental thing? Does he just really like looking at certain statues? Does he rub off on the marble. Does he imagine Scenarios with himself and the statues. Soulmate AU: I imagine Ketterley Realizing during their interview and going "oh thank God, someone I can trap in the labyrinth, this is the best case scenario. I never wanted a soulmate." Especially if it's an AU where there's some kind of biological imperative to staying around your soulmate, I imagine Ketterley would find it convenient to have his trapped in a pocket dimension where he can pop in for biweekly meetings and avoid going into soulmate withdrawal or whatever but he doesn't have to actually, you know, change anything about his life to accommodate the presence of a new person. Maybe there's some sort of magical connection he wants to exploit? Could also motivate him to keep Piranesi alive if Matthew is his soulmate and soulmates are affected by each other's deaths (also. What happens when Ketterley dies??) Also also, did Matthew know, and what does Piranesi know? Does he know soulmates are a thing at all. Does he just think he and the Other share a special scholarly bond. Does he have no idea. What does and doesn't he remember.
Piranesi Solo or with House/Statues:
...How much exactly did he forget when Matthew disappeared? I imagine he has a basic understanding of what sex is--he's very intelligent and he understands such concepts as finding and cooking food, maps, writing, exploration, time and calendars, etc. It seems like a lot of general knowledge carried over, but specific stuff got lost in the mix, so I'm guessing he knows what sex is, but wouldn't remember what experiences Matthew has had.
So like. Was there a point at which Piranesi jerked off "for the first time ever" (which felt mysteriously familiar?) Did he discover/rediscover/think he was discovering human sexuality from looking at the Statues? Is that one of the things he thinks the House taught him but he was actually trying to dredge up from lost memories?
Statues: I know he has favorites, does he also have some that he thinks are extra sexy? (Do the statues depict anything overtly sexual, or does he just enjoy them?) If you go for the statues prompt--is it a mental thing? Does he just really like looking at certain statues? Does he rub off on the marble. Does he imagine Scenarios with himself and the statues. What's going on with him. This poor guy can't remember what his name is or whether he's had sex before and Ass Out Apollo is just unhelpfully mooning him from the walls. Idk I'm interested to see what you come up with. Could also be Piranesi/The House if you want?
